When I was an undergraduate student at Washington University, I discovered the magic of the theater department, specifically the costume shop, and it changed the course of my studies. I stayed in the School of Art but split my major between Fashion Design and Costume Design. That duality of interest (plurality, really: I have many loves, from writing to painting) has remained with me. And so, here are two portfolios for the fashion designer I began as and the costume designer I developed into.
